Day 52 - Star Wars Week Magical Moments Inspired by Star Wars The Force Awakens

Star Wars Week* This week we will be featuring movies from the epic space-opera franchise created by George Lucas (and now owned by Disney). The Star Wars franchise depicts the adventures of characters "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away".

Day 52 ~ Today is brought to you by Star Wars - Episode 7. When we found out that Star Wars was coming back, my husband took our family on 2 hours notice across the country to see the premiere of the trailer at Star Wars Celebration - where we saw it with Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, BB8, and the rest of the cast (minus Harrison Ford who had just been in a plane crash). It was the most epic adventure we have ever gone on. Enjoy these galactic activities and watch Star Wars - The Force Awakens on Disney Plus today.

Octoanuts Birthday Party

For my son's 4th Birthday he decided he wanted an Octonaut birthday party. We had so much fun making all the decorations for this party. Most of the ideas came from Pinterest or my husband's crazy thinking :) Pin the Eye Patch on Kwazii Homemade Octonaut Hats Applesauce Kelp Cakes My husband created wooden cutouts for photos, we decoupaged images on we printed from the website. Our local Gerritys grocery store made a Octopod Cupcake Cake from a design I created. We added gummy sharks and M&Ms for more details. My husband made a Jello Snotblob because my son is obsessed with the Christmas Octonaut episode.
