Day 47 - Star Wars Week Magical Moments Inspired by Episodes 1-3

Star Wars is a huge part of the Geek Momma Life family - our son is named after one of our favorite characters, my husband is in the process of joining one of the many Star Wars costuming groups, we go to almost all Star Wars events in our community.

*Star Wars Week* This week we will be featuring movies from the epic space-opera franchise created by George Lucas (and now owned by Disney). The Star Wars franchise depicts the adventures of characters "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away".

Day 47 ~ Today is brought to you by the prequel trilogy of Star Wars Episodes 1-3. These movies are highly debated in the Star Wars Community. They lay the foundation for many of the characters we came to love in the original star wars trilogy. The costumes and music are amazing. Bleach Shirts

My son is obsessed with the show Octonauts but you can't find the anything to buy in the store because its based in the UK. My husband got the great idea to make him a shirt using a bleach technique. He printed out the picture he wanted using freezer paper. Cut it out the image so that it was revered and the image was the only part of the shirt showing. He then ironed it onto the shirt. Using bleach in a spray bottle he sprayed the image. Once you remove the freezer paper, you can see that the areas you bleached are a different color then the rest of the shirt. Step 1: Print our image you want Step 2: Cut out the image, leaving the outline Step 3: Iron on to shirt Step 4: Using bleach in a spray bottle, spray the area of the shirt showing, inside the outline Step 5: Peel of freezer paper Step 6: Rinse and let dry It came out great! Day 76 - Tinker Bell Week Magical Moments Inspired by Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue

*Tinker Bell Week* This week we will be featuring all the amazing movies featuring our favorite fairy Tinker Bell. These movies introduce us to the magical world of fairies and meet the enchanting creatures of Pixie Hollow, who "nurture nature" and bring about the change of the seasons. Day 76 ~ Today's Tinker Bell movie is Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue. While summering in England, Tinker Bell meets her very first human, a little girl who believes in fairies, and who very much needs a friend.
