Day 47 - Star Wars Week Magical Moments Inspired by Episodes 1-3

Star Wars is a huge part of the Geek Momma Life family - our son is named after one of our favorite characters, my husband is in the process of joining one of the many Star Wars costuming groups, we go to almost all Star Wars events in our community.

*Star Wars Week* This week we will be featuring movies from the epic space-opera franchise created by George Lucas (and now owned by Disney). The Star Wars franchise depicts the adventures of characters "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away".

Day 47 ~ Today is brought to you by the prequel trilogy of Star Wars Episodes 1-3. These movies are highly debated in the Star Wars Community. They lay the foundation for many of the characters we came to love in the original star wars trilogy. The costumes and music are amazing. Octoanuts Birthday Party

For my son's 4th Birthday he decided he wanted an Octonaut birthday party. We had so much fun making all the decorations for this party. Most of the ideas came from Pinterest or my husband's crazy thinking :) Pin the Eye Patch on Kwazii Homemade Octonaut Hats Applesauce Kelp Cakes My husband created wooden cutouts for photos, we decoupaged images on we printed from the website. Our local Gerritys grocery store made a Octopod Cupcake Cake from a design I created. We added gummy sharks and M&Ms for more details. My husband made a Jello Snotblob because my son is obsessed with the Christmas Octonaut episode.
