Elf on the Shelf We had some fun this Christmas Season with our Elves. We have a Peyton Manning Denver Bronco Elf, Henry the Elf (New for our New Baby Brother), Jack, and Tug our Phillies Elf.  Our elf has arrived and brought some friends. Jack and Henry was over the boys during Christmas and Broncos Peyton Manning watches over during the first football season. My son loves the elf and we have to do it twice a day because he travels to watch him at school. Our elf has arrived and brought some friends. Pokemon 5th Birthday Party Over the summer and maternity leave my son and I got addicted to Pokemon. When it came to his birthday I had so many great ideas and with help from my hubby we had a great party. Here our some of our crafts/food/clothing crafts. Pizza Pokeball Our son drew up the cake and our local Gerritys Supermarket (Moosic, PA) did a great job! Only cost $40 My husband created this game and i drew on solid white beach balls for Pokemon.  He just printed off my sons favorite Pokemon and modgepodge them on We made family shirts to wear.  It just happened to be our new babies 1st month birthday so he had to get in on  the party actions.
Baby Carseat Covers I wanted to make a carseat cover for walking my son to school and of course wanted to geek it out. I went to Jo Ann Fabrics and bought 1 yard of fleece and 1 yard of regular cotton fabric. I also bought a coordinating fabric 1/8 yard for the handles and a 1/8 yard of sew on Velcro. They have been having some great geek options lately. Don't forget to use a coupon. All I do is put the 2 yards together and sew around, leaving a small spot to turn the fabric inside and sew it closed. I fold in half and mark the middle for the handles. I cut (2) 3 inch by 9 inch rectangles, fold in half and sew around, then sew on the Velcro on both sides. I then sew it to the middle section of the printed fabric. Takes about 15 minutes.
