Day 83- *Winnie the Pooh Week* Magical Moments Inspired by The Tigger Movie

*Winnie the Pooh Week* This week we will be featuring movies staring our good-natured, yellow-furred, honey-loving bear named Winnie the Pooh who lives in the Forest surrounding the Hundred Acre Wood. Enjoy all his adventures with his friend Eeyore, a gloomy gray donkey; Piglet, a timid pig; Owl, a pontificating bird; Tiger, exuberant tiger; the meddlesome Rabbit; and Kanga, an energetic kangaroo whose inquisitive baby, Roo, lives in her pouch.

Day 83 ~ Today's movie is The Tigger Movie. Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo, and Rabbit are preparing a suitable winter home for Eeyore, the perennially dejected donkey, but Tigger's continual bouncing interrupts their efforts. Rabbit suggests that Tigger go find others of his kind to bounce with, but Tigger thinks "the most wonderful thing about tiggers is" he's "the only one!" Just in case though, the joyously jouncy feline sets out to see if he can find relatives.

Enjoy these activities and watch on @disneyplus today!

Bleach Shirts

My son is obsessed with the show Octonauts but you can't find the anything to buy in the store because its based in  the UK. My husband got the great idea to make him a shirt using a bleach technique. He printed out the picture he wanted using freezer paper. Cut it out the image so that it was revered and the image was the only part of the shirt showing.  He then ironed it onto the shirt. Using bleach in a spray bottle he sprayed the image. Once you remove the freezer paper, you can see that the areas you bleached are a different color then the rest of the shirt. Step 1: Print our image you want Step 2: Cut out the image, leaving the outline Step 3: Iron on to shirt Step 4: Using bleach in a spray bottle, spray the area of the shirt showing, inside the outline Step 5: Peel of freezer paper Step 6: Rinse and let dry  It came out great!   Close up of the image

Octoanuts Birthday Party

For my son's 4th Birthday he decided he wanted an Octonaut birthday party.  We had so much fun making all the decorations for this party.  Most of the ideas came from Pinterest or my husband's crazy thinking :) Pin the Eye Patch on Kwazii Homemade Octonaut Hats Applesauce Kelp Cakes My husband created wooden cutouts for photos,  we decoupaged images on we printed from the website.  Our local Gerritys grocery store made a Octopod Cupcake Cake from a design I created.  We added gummy sharks and M&Ms for more details.  My husband made a Jello Snotblob because my son is obsessed with the Christmas Octonaut episode.
