Our Elves Are Back!

This year Jingle and Jangle have been up to some very tricky tricks and our older son is ready to have them go back to the North Pole forever!

I always create an introduction letter.

The first night they covered our tree and TV with Bubble Wrap.

Our older son wrote and cute letter to Santa and the elves wrote him back.

Getting some extra encouragement from the elves in the bathroom.

Elves enjoying Daddy's new Sonic game.

The elves decided they wanted their own rocket ships after watching our older son make his for school.

Enjoying some of Daddy's Thanksgiving leftovers.

Trying to reach high ground with help from wrapping paper rolls.

Don't mess with Mr. Dinosaur

Dropping of our Advent Calendar this year and reading it to all out stuff animal friends.
This year it was a vintage Muppet Storybook/Ornament set we got on Etsy.

Best gift so far, both our oldest and baby loves these Mermaid pillows I got on Ebay.

Underwear and Diaper tree decorating.

I'll post more of our elf antics next week!

Bleach Shirts

My son is obsessed with the show Octonauts but you can't find the anything to buy in the store because its based in  the UK. My husband got the great idea to make him a shirt using a bleach technique. He printed out the picture he wanted using freezer paper. Cut it out the image so that it was revered and the image was the only part of the shirt showing.  He then ironed it onto the shirt. Using bleach in a spray bottle he sprayed the image. Once you remove the freezer paper, you can see that the areas you bleached are a different color then the rest of the shirt. Step 1: Print our image you want Step 2: Cut out the image, leaving the outline Step 3: Iron on to shirt Step 4: Using bleach in a spray bottle, spray the area of the shirt showing, inside the outline Step 5: Peel of freezer paper Step 6: Rinse and let dry  It came out great!   Close up of the image
